Rebellion- Column- Wheel Chronograph

Rebellion Timepieces, a new Swiss watch brand launched at Baselworld 2008, has stepped boldly into the world of luxury mechanical watchmaking with their RE-2 Column-Wheel Chronograph. The timepiece features a massive 18K gold, or titanium case made up of 46 pieces, which showcases a futuristic tonneau shape and a modular sandwich construction. Enhancing the bold appearance of the RE-2 watch, are "Earthcrust" or "Mooncrust" dials which showcase multiple levels, a striking texture, and apertures which reveal the fascinating circular chronograph and date functions.
The Rebellion Timepieces Column-Wheel Chronograph is animated by a self-winding movement, which may be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback. Key technical elements include a balance wheel frequency of 28,800 vph, a column-wheel controlled chronograph mechanism, and a rapidly adjustable date display. Baseplate and bridges are coated with black ruthenium, and the central winding mass is crafted from solid gold.
Each Column-Wheel Chronograph is fitted with a branded rubber strap, and a deployant buckle manufactured from 18K gold or titanium. Water resistance of the watch is 100 meters.
